Sightsavers has launched a new campaign titled Eyes on F1 to raise awareness of the 39 million blind people in the world and highlight the fact that 80 per cent of blindness is preventable or curable.

The campaign has captured the eyes of seven Formula 1 drivers, including Jenson Button, Mark Webber (above), Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso, in a series of previously unseen photographs taken by sports photographer Andrew Hone.

The limited edition photos, taken just before races in the 2011 season are available to win in a prize draw on the Sightsavers website, with tickets costing £1 each.
