Following this week's British Contact Lens Association presidential address, the Association has revealed details of its forthcoming winter courses and lectures.
'So what's new in contact lens practice?' will take place at Aston University, Birmingham on October 19. The course will highlight topical issues in contact lens practice and anterior eye management, as well as presenting the latest product developments and clinical techniques.
Afternoon workshops will feature Dr Jenni Craig, of the University of Auckland, New Zealand, demonstrating the management of dry eye from diagnostic techniques to punctal plug insertion.
Registration costs £175 for BCLA members and £199 for non-members.
Later in the year the BCLA Pioneers' Conference will present an afternoon of lectures celebrating the contribution of contact lens pioneers to current knowledge and looking forward to future advances.
The conference will be held at the Institute of Physics in London on November 29. Attendance is free of charge to BCLA members.
