
Employees at SpaMedica, an independent provider of NHS cataract surgery, have raised £32,980 for charities supporting people living with sight loss, dementia and cancer.
The funds were collected through various activities and were expected to make a significant impact in the community.
One of the beneficiary charities was Guide Dogs UK, an organisation that breeds and trains guide dogs to help those with vision impairments live more independently.
Tom Fellows, head of policy and value proposition at SpaMedica, said: ‘Teams across SpaMedica embrace our value of kindness wholeheartedly and are incredibly generous, both in their approach to their work and to helping others.’
