SpaMedica has opened a new eye health centre in Hereford, aimed at delivering high-quality eye care where it is most needed.
The custom-designed, 3,200 sq ft relocatable unit was conveniently located next to the Asda Hereford Supercentre, ensuring easy access for local patients.
Richard Woodward, CEO of SpaMedica, said: ‘Advancing eye care and making ophthalmology treatments available in a timely and convenient way is at the heart of this investment.’
The centre was expected to support around 21,000 Herefordshire residents currently living with common eye conditions.
Patients referred to the service could receive treatment in as little as four weeks, compared to a national NHS target of 18 weeks.
