An optical practice has hosted a family fun day in aid of Help for Heroes during the Half Term holiday.
Staff at Specsavers Colchester dressed as the Minions from children's film Despicable Me, while holding dedicated clinics teaching the importance of eye health.
Child patients had the opportunity to have their faces painted and watch television shows and films including Despicable Me at the practice.
Store director Nick Hagan said: ‘Our kids-themed days continue to be a runaway success and it is great that whenever we host them, our clinics are fully booked.'
