A new practice director has joined Specsavers Derby after Raj Gohil stepped down from the role after more than four decades in the optical industry.
Gohil will continue working three days a week at the practice as a dispensing optician while supporting two trainee contact lens opticians during their studies.
‘The team, our patients and the local community make working here so special and I’ve been extremely lucky to be surrounded by such wonderful people. I’m looking forward to seeing what the future brings but for the time being I am savouring every moment here,’ Gohill said.
Andrew Wells rejoined Derby as director, having first worked at the practice 10 years ago as an optometrist before launching the Ashbourne practice in 2018.
