Angela Perls from Specsavers Widnes has retired after cutting the ribbon at the practice 36 years ago.
The dispensing director has overseen 750,000 eye tests and dispensed more than one million pairs of spectacles.
‘What an amazing 36 years it's been working within the Specsavers family. I’m so proud of everything the practice has achieved over the years and the milestones we’ve passed together. I know who I’ll be visiting for my own eye tests from now on,’ Perls said.
Perls' daughter and retail director Charlotte Stokes will take over management of the business and join current ophthalmic director Mark Levi.
