Specsavers Dundee raises £20K for MND

Specsavers Dundee has donated £20,000 to the motor neurone disease (MND) charity My Name’5 Doddie foundation in support of its ‘All roads lead to Rome’ cycle event.

Eight cyclists will travel 1,800 miles from the Dundee practice on March 2 to Rome by March 9, in time for the Scotland v Italy Six Nations match at Rome’s Stadio Olimpico.

Jenny Stephenson, dispensing director optician at Specsavers Dundee (pictured kneeling left of the bike), said: ‘When I heard about the All Roads Lead to Rome cycle in memory of Scottish rugby legend, Doddie Weir, I simply knew we had to get involved.’
