Specsavers hosts pre-reg placement event

More than 50 pre-reg offers have been made by Specsavers for next year since the multiple organised a recruitment event for students showcasing 84 of its UK stores two months ago.

Specsavers organised the event in response to demand from 525 students who successfully completed placements at Specsavers stores during the summer.

Specsavers head of graduate recruitment and development Louise Iredale said: ‘Unfortunately, not all of those students were able to secure a pre-reg in those stores.

‘There was a real buzz on the day and it has helped a lot of students find positions while helping stores fill their pre-reg vacancies that they’ve been struggling with by showing how much they have to offer a trainee.’
