Specsavers opens Haverfordwest practice

Specsavers announced a new practice opening in Haverfordwest, which it said would play a key role in optometric education, following a £1.2m relocation to larger premises.

The new store, located in the Riverside Shopping Centre, will offer enhanced services and will reopen on December 16, attracting local dignitaries.

Equipped with 14 test rooms, the practice will serve as a training hub for optometrists pursuing specialist qualifications, with traditional pre-reg placements as well as new clinical learning in practice (CLiP) placements.

Andy Britton, optometry director at Specsavers Haverfordwest, said: ‘Our larger premises will allow us to meet growing demand, introduce advanced clinical services and provide a dedicated training facility for optometrists pursuing higher qualifications.’
