Tuneful optical staff hit the recording studio to provide backing vocals for a charity single in aid of East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices. The team from Specsavers Thetford, Norfolk collaborated with indie band DryStoneWalls for the song I can count on you, scheduled for release on iTunes early next month. Paul Clark, store director at the practice, said: ‘My sister-in-law, Danielle Rowe, is the lead singer of the band and when I asked her if they would be interested in recording a song she jumped at the chance. The original track was written by Danielle when she was a solo artist 10 years ago recording as Poloroid and has since been re-recorded for this collaboration.’
