Specsavers' latest 'Should've gone to' commercial has featured a visually impaired vet who mistakes a hat for a cat.
The advert, first aired on TV on Saturday May 4 during Britain's Got Talent, was created by the multiple's Guernsey-based in-house creatives Mark de la Rue and Richard James and was directed by Tim Bullock - responsible for the latest Fosters beer commercials.
The ad sees a hapless vet becoming increasingly frustrated while attending to a non responsive cat. He calls his assistant for help, but instead of helping save the cat, the assistant takes her hat from the treatment table. A confused vet turns to find the real cat looking terrified about its forthcoming treatment.
