Specscart founder shortlisted for GBEA 2025

The founder of Manchester-based eyewear company Specscart has been shortlisted for the Allica Bank Great British Entrepreneur Awards (GBEA) 2025.

Sid Sethi was a finalist in the Retail Entrepreneur of the Year Award category, recognised for his innovation in the retail sector.

Sethi said: ‘This is a fantastic vote of confidence in Specscart’s retail prowess, where we are reinventing what an opticians looks and feels like.’

The GBEA, often dubbed the Grammys of entrepreneurship, recognised the contributions and achievements of entrepreneurs and businesses in the UK.

Sethi will join 1,500 other entrepreneurs, investors and business leaders at the award ceremony on November 17 at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel.
