A new Sun campaign from Carl Zeiss Vision enables opticians to help their patients find out what sunglass lens type they are and guide them to the ideal sunglass lens solution.
The Sun Campaign is described by CZV as a reliable platform that combines eye catching promotions of shop window displays and supporting PR and selling aids. A showcard incorporates a rotating wheel that visually aligns the various sunglass types with patient preferences and characteristics, so that a quick, simple face-to-face demonstration of prescription sunglass lenses is possible.
For a more involved exercise there is also a 'What sunglass lens type are you?' interactive on-screen test that discovers the patient's sunglass lens type based on a series of lifestyle questions. This gives an end solution, for example, providing self-tinting lenses for 'convenience lovers' - people who constantly shuffle between the office, conference room and the car.
The company added that coordinating the campaign with detailed customer flyers and complimentary showcards produced a fluid and informative sales process. It highlighted the opportunity, with 62 per cent of people over the age of 16 needing prescription spectacles and only one in five wearers owning a pair of prescription sunglasses.
