Johnson & Johnson Vision committed to making its stand at 100% Optical (February 25-27) more sustainable than ever and featured a “living tree” installation.
The contact lens company said 95% of its stand were fully recyclable, by reusing materials from the event and single use items, such as graphics prints and carpets. All stand materials have been sourced from local and sustainable suppliers, and when items were too old to use again, they would be sent to be repurposed.
LED lighting and screens was used on stand, which reduced Johnson & Johnson Vision’s electricity consumption, and all deliveries were fulfilled using electric or hybrid vehicles.
