Tinsley to the rescue

Instrument manufacturer Tinsley stepped in when vital equipment at London's Institute of Optometry was stolen.

The theft, which took place during clinic hours last Thursday week, saw the loss of the Institute's lap-top which supports its Henson Pro visual field analyser. However, Tinsley, which manufactures the Henson Pro for Rodenstock, offered to replace the computer immediately Anita Lightstone, senior lecturer at the Institute, said: 'We could not believe it was taken as the equipment is well away from public view.' She thanked Tinsley for the company's generosity.
