Topcon announces education programme at Optrafair

Optrafair NECConsultant ophthalmologist at the Manchester Royal Eye Hospital and Professor of Ophthalmology at Manchester University Professor Paolo Stanga will speak on Sunday April 19 to advise on a range of clinical topics, including interpreting OCT and how such cases are managed in secondary eye care.

As one of Optrafair’s main education sponsors, Topcon is running advanced training modules with CET with its Topcon University (TU) programme.  One out of the four Topcon stands will be dedicated to TU with walk-in education sessions, including topography, OCT and slit lamp imaging.

Optometrists are invited to submit their ambiguous CET cases for a live discussion throughout Stanga’s keynote speech. Stanga will discuss the OCT interpretation of a range of conditions including AMD, diabetic retinopathy, macular holes and vitreomacular traction.
