Transitions Optical launched a new version of its Light Sensitivity Test to create more understanding among patients and promote conversations with optical practices.
The company said the online test provided patients with a light sensitivity score on a scale of 0-100 and a personal Transition lens recommendation, which they can try on using the virtual mirror tool.
Charlotte Hamel, global marketing vice president at Transitions Optical, said: ‘The new Light Sensitivity Test is a great way for ECPs to introduce the conversation around light sensitivity and light management with their patients in a relatable way by discussing their lifestyle and day-to-day activities.
‘By helping consumers recognise different light situations or environments, such as excess blue light from screens or harsh glare from driving, they can then choose the best solution to better manage light with a personal Transitions lens recommendation.’
