Optometrist David Bostock from Haine & Smith Opticians recently returned from a two-week trip examining eyes in Mongolia.
Bostock, 30, travelled to the capital of Mongolia at Ulaan Baatar where he worked in an opticians using a translator to communicate with local patients.
He also travelled to the northern town of Erdenet with no optometric facilities where he worked with the Joint Christian Services testing over 130 patients.
