Trotter advises independents

Signet Armorlite Europe (SA) has appointed Nick Trotter (below) as the Kodak Lens Vision Centre retail manager for the south of the UK.

Trotter brings 15 years' experience to SA as a dispensing optician and audiologist. He started his optical career at Dollond & Aitchison before going on to own both a Specsavers and Outside Clinic franchise.

Commenting on his appointment, Trotter said: 'With the economic climate as it is, the Kodak Lens Vision Centre is a great opportunity for an independent to remain competitive. My role at Signet is to provide the Kodak Lens Vision Centres in the South with the support they need to drive their independent businesses forward.'
