A four-man golf team from UltraVision CLPL has beaten the world record for the fastest medal round.

A four-man golf team from UltraVision CLPL has beaten the world record for the fastest medal round.

The achievement was made at the Northumberland World Record Golf Challenge, and the team beat the previous record of one hour 32 minutes by a staggering 27 minutes.

The team (l-r: John Lyon, Ben Crosby, Russell Hayhoe and Andy Crawford) played against strong competition, with two other teams beating the record on the first day of the event.

UltraVision CLPL played early on the second day, completing their round in a hot-footed 64 minutes and 25 seconds, and raising £1,532 for the RNIB.
