Moin Valli, managing director of the West Yorkshire-based Valli Group practices, has been shortlisted for the Young Business Person of the Year prize in the 2012 Huddersfield Daily Examiner Business Awards.
On his nomination, Valli said: 'I was delighted to hear that I'd been shortlisted for the awards. My goal is to position the Valli Group as the leading independent opticians across West Yorkshire and eventually beyond, offering professional eye care and outstanding service in our local communities.'
Valli added that the group had invested over £260,000 in technology, optical equipment and refurbishment in recent years and had allocated a further £100,000 for capital investment by the end of 2012.
