A team from the Vision Express head office in Nottingham has vowed to take on the Three Peaks Challenge next month, raising money for the Childhood Eye Cancer Trust (CHECT).
Finance and payroll staff from the company will walk the highest peaks of Scotland, England and Wales on June 8 and 9.
The challenge involves walking 26 miles with a total ascent of 3,000m, scaling Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England and Snowdon in Wales.
Paul Gant, from the Vision Express finance department, said: 'The challenge will be tough, there will be lots of pain and discomfort for us. However, as we reflect on those young people supported by CHECT, this will help spur us all on to succeed.'
