WCSM to host debate on future of profession

The Worshipful Company of Spectacle Makers and the WCSM Education Trust will this week host an ‘Eye to Eye’ discussion on the theme of Will we need optometrists in 2020?

It will take place today (June 30), from 6pm at the AOP offices on Woodbridge Street, London.

The discussion panel will include Professor Carrie MacEwen, president of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, Fiona Anderson, president of ABDO, Professor David Thomson, former head of vision science at City University and Ben Fletcher, managing director of Boots Opticians.
