Zeiss and You Mawo develop tailored offering

Frame company You Mawo has partnered with Zeiss to add a new feature to the optical supplier’s Visufit 1000 device that will expand its customisable capabilities.

The German companies worked together to enable eye care professionals to seamlessly pair Zeiss lenses with customised frames and better meet patient requirements.

Silvio Trüssel, commercial manager of vision technology solutions at Zeiss Vision Care, said: ‘In collaboration with You Mawo, we are creating an offering tailored to the individual needs of the customers, encompassing not only lenses but also customised frames designed for optimal comfort.’

Patients have a scan of their head taken on the Visufit 1000 and then select a You Mawo frame as a starting point that can then have various parameters adjusted.
