On your marks for National Eye Health Week

With the UK’s major eye care awareness campaign arriving it is worth familiarising yourself with this year’s daily schedule.

The new format dedicates one day to a different aspect of eye health and promises to offer an extra level of structure to the awareness campaign.

Each of the days provides the opportunity to promote local optical practices and raise awareness about looking after vision in general.

Perhaps the stand-out day for NEHW is Fr-eye-day September 26, when the sector follows in the footsteps of successful campaigns including Stop-tober and Mo-vember in drumming up public interest with a quirky tagline.
