The unique conundrum

As a cub reporter I had it drummed into me never to use the word unique. However convincing the argument for its unqueness you can bet it will turn out not to be unique.

 Since then that word has always been a bit of a no-go area  for me so when I see it I always feel a frison of annoyance. I noticed at last year's Silmo that Dutch frame company You's were using Younique. I can't say I thought much of it until I saw the recent Police advertising from De Rigo.Yous nique.JPGPOlice younique.JPG
