The View from the High Street

Working in a large city centre practice like Nottingham means life is always fast-paced and exciting – that’s the way we like to do business. But it seems that our feet haven’t touched the ground in recent weeks.

Working in a large city centre practice like Nottingham means life is always fast-paced and exciting – that’s the way we like to do business. But it seems that our feet haven’t touched the ground in recent weeks.

Having already marked the practice’s 20th anniversary, we’re still celebrating after winning three out of nine award categories – including joint Practice of the Year – at this year’s Specsavers Excellence in Eyecare Awards.

It’s fantastic recognition for the entire practice team, and a reflection of the high standards we set ourselves every day. We also won the dispensing and contact lens categories, which we’re very proud of, as it’s an area we’re passionate about. We have two qualified dispensing opticians on the team, including myself, and are proactive in training others, both in-store through our trainee DO programme, and by sharing our expertise with others in the region.
