Contact lens educators honoured

The International Association of Contact Lens Educators (IACLE) has congratulated the winners of its awards for 2020.

The IACLE Contact Lens Educator of the Year award recognises achievements in contact lens education across the globe, with this year’s winners coming from the USA, Malaysia and the UK. The Association of British Dispensing Opticians’ Jo Underwood, from Godmersham, scooped the award for Europe/Africa.

2020 IACLE award winners will receive a bursary of up to $3,000 for attending major international meetings, where they will receive their awards. The venues and events for the winners to receive their awards will be confirmed once coronavirus related travel restrictions are eased.
