IACLE announces award winners

International Association of Contact Lens Educators (IACLE) has announced the winners of its 2019 Contact Lens Educator of the Year Awards.

Three awards will be presented, one for each of IACLE’s three global regions. To receive their awards, winners will travel to the British Contact Lens Association (BCLA) Clinical Conference in Manchester, which runs from May 30 to June 1.

Educators from three countries – Australia, Italy, Mexico – have been recognised. They are: Rubén Velázquez, representing the Americas; Craig Woods, for the Asia Pacific area; and Fabrizio Zeri, from the ‘Europe/Africa – Middle East’ region.
