WCSM celebrates success

The Worshipful Company of Spectacle Makers (WCSM) celebrated its annual presentation ceremony at Barber-Surgeons’ Hall on September 6.

The WCSM has supported optical training heavily over its almost 400-year history and this year’s presentation saw seven apprentices receive certificates from master spectacle maker, Huntly Taylor.

Taylor said: ‘The annual ceremony is a real highlight of the year and we were delighted to welcome the successful apprentices, supporters and training team. We look forward to hearing about their careers and welcoming more of them as members of our company in the future.’
