Optician Awards 2015: Software Practice of the Year

The level of competition at the Optician Awards means even the very best practices attend the night itself more in hope than expectation. So it is all the more impressive that Lincoln-based David Burghardt Vision Care took home not one but two trophies from the 2015 event.

The first of these was in the Software Practice of the Year category. David Burghardt Vision Care’s entry stated that the practice has been using a practice management system (PMS) since 1991 and in 2005 made major investment so ‘all clinical, administrative and marketing functions of the practice be brought together in an efficient way’.
