£2.25m eye clinic opens in Northern Ireland

Kingsbridge Healthcare Group opened its £2.25m eye clinic in Ballykelly, Northern Ireland, which will treat up to 7000 patients annually. 

The new building was part of investment into the Kingsbridge Private Hospital North West (KPHNW) and has been staffed by a team of HCA’s, nurses, three new local surgeons and an optometrist. 

Anthony McKenna, general manager at KPHNW, said: 'This new centre of excellence has been established to meet the needs of patients in the North West who previously had to travel greater distances to access treatment for cataracts or plastic surgery.
