A pass rate of 85 per cent has been reported in the College of Optometrists’ July OSCEs.

In total, 364 candidates took on 17 five-minute stations made up of 16 clinical tasks and a rest station.

Dan Varcoe, who completed his pre-reg training in Jersey, said: ‘I’m relieved I’ve passed and very happy. Once I got to the OSCE and got started, I quite enjoyed it. The next OSCE will take place in September.
