The European Sunglass Association has produced a range of communication tools about sun protection for professionals to present to their patients in practice.
Watch Your Eyes is an educational film that is being delivered worldwide to opticians in the coming weeks in order to target potential clients looking to acquire sunglasses in the near future.
Supported by 'well-known' experts, the film is split into four narrative short stories to convey key messages about eye health to children and adults in an 'entertaining and informative' format.
It is designed for professionals who need a tool to convincingly put forward the importance of quality, health and protection as well as fashion and style. The ESA said that while specialists were fully aware of the importance of eye protection, the level of knowledge among consumers was very low.
