GOC confirms suspension of optometry student

Chairman of the GOC disciplinary panel Alan Baldwin said that the 18-month interim suspension imposed on 25-year-old Nathan Benjahman Hill, a second-year student at Aston University, Birmingham, was imposed for the 'protection of the public and in the public interest' and should remain in place.

The hearing heard that the incident happened last November. The woman student left the library to report the matter to security immediately but Hill, when approached, claimed he had done nothing wrong.
