Independents Day will not quite coincide with its near-namesake US celebration this year but has already attracted 50 bookings.
The conference, for those involved in the independent sector, has been scheduled for Monday July 9.
Organiser Proven Track Record (PTR) has again opted for the Motorcycle Museum in Birmingham as the venue, with the theme entitled Close Encounters of the Patient Kind.
This year's schedule will include a session with patients, who will share the findings of a mystery-shopping programme.
PTR co-director David Goad (pictured left with Nick Atkins) said: 'We already have 50 delegates booked - a record for this time of the year. This has been helped by a promotional rate until the end of February for past delegates to attend for less than £100.'
