
Janice Foster has been named as the new CEO of the Local Optical Committee Support Unit (Locsu) to replace Richard Whittington and will take up the role in October.
Foster was previously CEO of Cleveland Local Medical Committee, which represented over 200 GPs and 68 practices, where she led on organisation restructure and transforming services.
Speaking about her appointment, Foster commented: ‘I am delighted to join the team at Locsu and look forward to supporting the further development of local optical committees across the country, using the tremendous platform that is in place to build, together, the best possible experiences for staff and patients.’
