Optician sales executive raises money for Moorfields

Optician classified sales executive Joseph Lever recently abseiled the Accelormittal Orbit in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park to raise money for Moorfields Eye Hospital.

‘I have had a questionable relationship with heights since I was a child, and this was in no way helped by the instructor kindly promising me that everything would be over soon. He must have seen the panic on my face. The moment I allowed my weight to take me over the edge was terrifying, but I enjoyed the descent and the view was breath-taking. Thanks to Moorfields and Vivid Optical for putting on such a fantastic event.’
