Sheikh Thompson (right), Deputy Mayor of Haringey attended and endorsed the day, adding: 'This is what our community is about - residents and businesses looking after each other.
I'm going to be eating healthier and getting my eyes checked on time.' Hammonds has been providing clinically oriented eye care to the community for over 70 years and hopes to make National Eye Week a high-profile event at the practice.
