A Sheffield Bono lookalike, Anthony Jonson, has teamed up with local independent Birds Opticians to promote an eye health initiative led by the U2 singer.
The practice is supporting the Revo Sunglasses ‘Buy Vision Give Sight’ campaign, which sees just under £7 from the sale of every pair donated to help eradicate preventable blindness in under-developed countries.
The campaign has been launched by Bono in partnership with Revo and the Brien Holden Vision Institute.
Jonson, who has been a lifetime U2 fan, said: ‘Once again Bono has proved what an amazing character he is championing this often overlooked cause.’
