Silhouette International has donated 20,000 pairs of its Evil Eye sports eyewear collection to the Red Cross in Austria to help with demand for Personal Protective Equipment.
Frames have been used by the mobile sampling teams and at Covid-19 drive-in test centres, with 5,000 sent to the charity in Upper Austria and the remainder distributed across the other eight states of the country.
Silhouette explained that Evil Eye frames feature a robust frame material and non-slip inset traction grip, plus anti-fog lenses and 100% protection against UV that make them ideal for demanding working conditions.
