Skye high celebrations

The staff at Skye Optometrists are celebrating more than 150 years' combined service at the practice in Harpenden, Hertfordshire. Optometrist Dawn Skye bought the practice 31 years ago and was joined by fellow OO Helen Wildey a year later. Optometrist Carol Arkush joined them 20 years ago, and has since started her own practice, although she continues working one day a week at the Harpenden practice. Helen Wildey says: 'Other staff also find they cannot leave Ð practice manager Pam has clocked up 12 years, Dipa, Jean and Linda have also served for more than 10 years each. We wish them well for the next 150 years!'
