Specsavers Harrogate welcomed Year 3 pupils from Brackenfield School for a hands-on lesson exploring the vital role science played in everyday life and patient care.
The children were given vision simulation glasses to understand how altered vision affects daily tasks and learned about eye health, with one pupil volunteering for an optical coherence tomography (OCT) scan. The session concluded with a lesson on hearing health.
Mrs Clark, class teacher at Brackenfield School, said: ‘We’re thankful to the team at Specsavers Harrogate for hosting our students, and for creating a well thought out and informative session.’
