An optical practice in Reading organised a sports day event to help raise funds for a day centre for children with special needs last month.
Specsavers Reading wore outfits including leotards and fitness shorts to undertake a series of challenges including an egg and spoon race for the Camp Mohawk centre.
Jordan Casciello, optical assistant at the practice, said: ‘The Reading team are always trying to find new ways to raise awareness and funds for charity in a fun and innovative manner. It was a fantastic event for staff, customers and local residents but, more importantly, it was for a great cause. We’re really proud to be doing our bit to support Camp Mohawk.’
