Key strategies to maximise success when exhibiting at trade shows such as Optrafair were revealed to delegates at the FMO's masterclass day on October 2.
Attendees heard from marketing experts on how no other marketing activity gives companies the chance to meet so many potential customers as a trade show.
One such expert, Laura Moody, explained how, used correctly, Optrafair would provide exhibitors with hundreds of buyers. 'A trade show is an enormous opportunity, but it is up to exhibitors to maximise this. Eighty per cent of the success is down to your staff. Industry averages show that only one in 28 of show visitors are ever approached,' she said.
