Vision Express wins award for National Eye Health Week campaign

Vision Express has won a social responsibility award at the Chartered Institute of Marketing Excellence Awards following to its campaigning efforts during National Eye Health Week.

Comedian Jimmy Carr presented the national optical retailer with the highly commended accolade at the Grosvenor Hotel in London last month.

During the National Eye Health Week last November, the Vision Van visited eye health hotspots that had a prevalence of poor eye health and eye conditions (Optician 07.10.16).

As a result the average weekly number of tests booked at Vision Express doubled, with over half of those tested confessing to not having had an eye test in the past five years.
