Wade and Menrad celebrate milestone

Wade Opticians and Menrad Optics have celebrated 30 years of doing business together.

Managing director Alastair Wade (pictured) stressed the importance of staying close to your suppliers, saying it can bring flexibility and efficiency.

He said: 'Many other suppliers do not remain as close to our business as Menrad Optics does.

Thus it becomes difficult to work effectively with them and you can find yourself in a state of false economy. This is definitely not the case with Menrad as is evident by the way our businesses are growing together.' Menrad supplies frame brands including Jaguar, Morgan and Joop! to four Wade practices in the North East and three branches run by its sister company.
